Working at a ceramic shop with other crafters.
What are your favorite craft mediums?
Clay, jewelry, sewing, painting.
Do you sell any of your work or do you plan to?
Yes, I do home shows and plan to get involved in fairs and even consignment.
What do you personally want to get out of the Denton Craft Mafia?
I hope to meet other crafters like myself with a passion for all things DIY and open to new opportunities to share and hear new ideas.
What do you like most about Denton?
Denton has changed so much, but I love the smallness of it and the sense of history. It was the place where I first learned to be myself and let the artist within me flourish.
What are some of your other interests?
My husband and I love to visit Austin when we can and I always come back inspired. Music, art and all things vintage are my favorite things.
What other jobs do you have and what other activities are you involved in?
Right now I'm a full time artist. I am currently building a web site to show and sell my jewelry etc. I've worked as an artist for over 7 years now, but have dabbled in photography and tried to learn to speak Mandarin.
Favorite bands?
Currently I'm listening to Innocence Mission, Tori Amos, Le Tigre, and I also like Death From Above 1979.
Favorite foods?
Sushi! Of course Mexican food is a staple, but beef is off the menu.
