how to join :
Not only will being a member of the D.C.M. put you in a group with other people who are interested in some of the same things as you, but it will allow you to be in an environment that supports creative brainstorming and discussion to help your own ideas flow.  If you become a member of the D.C.M. you will gain knowledge, experience, relationships, contacts, and have a great time!  Non-members are allowed to come to meetings, but only members get to participate in special sales and benefits.
NOTE: We are now charging a $5 membership fee.  See below for details.
To join, click on the paypal link below to send us the $5 membership fee.  We didn't use to charge membership fees, but now that we are growing and planning more events, this small fee will help us cover costs such as hosting fees for this lovely web site, craft classes that we are hoping to start in the future, and more fun events like the altered clothing fashion show.  The cost is $5 and that is for a year long membership.  Memberships expire at the end of the year and can be renewed every January.  After you have gone through paypal, send us an email with answers to the following questions and be sure to include a photograph of yourself.  Don't worry about size and cropping, we'll take care of that for you!
ANOTHER NOTE: I will no longer be posting memberships online without photographs!  If you want to join and don't have a photograph yet, that's okay, I'll just hold your info until you can send me one.  Not being in the online member index does not exclude you from member resources and benefits though.  The pictures just make the member index look so much prettier....

When we say weapon we mean a craft "tool".  For example, instead of fashion design you could say needle & thread, sewing machine, or fabric.  If you make jewelry you can say beads, metal, or string.  Get it?
