Art Craft Supplies
After being very inspired by arts and crafts (made primarily with Brother sewing machines), sewing became a passion. Since there already seemed to be so many outlets for painters and other artists, sewing enthusiasts wanted to create something that was solely for the people in the community who shared the passion for arts and crafts. Studying fibers and selling handmade jewelry, and connecting with other craft artists near by became a priority. Now making that possible by being in an open environment to learn, share, explore, connect, and create is the passion for sewing machines. Check out more for information about each of the many resources for every type of art and craft lover and maker.
Not only will being a member of the arts and crafts and sewing community put you in a group with other people who are interested in some of the same things as you, but it will allow you to be in an environment that supports creative brainstorming and discussion to help your own ideas flow. If you become involved you will gain knowledge, experience, relationships, contacts, and have a great time! Everyone is allowed to come to learn and participate in special sales and benefits.
We are growing and planning more events in the arts and crafts supplies field. We are expanding our lovely web site with announcements of craft classes that we are hoping to start in the future, and more fun events like the altered clothing fashion show.
Stained Glass Class – Learn the basics of stained glass including planning and drawing your design, cutting glass by hand and with a saw, grinding, cleaning, copper foiling, soldering, and finishing techniques. Through this two night class you will be able to finish one small project. Art and craft supplies provided with cost.
Ceramic Painting Class and Professional Artist Studio Tour – Learn the basics of ceramic painting and design yourself a 6×6 inch wall plaque. Also tour a professional artist’s home studio and learn what’s involved in running your business from home. Leave your finished project there and it will be fired for you to pick up at a later time. And don’t forget to practice on your Brother sewing machine!
